8. Handbook Sign-Off & Acceptance

Substance Abuse and Testing Policy as a condition of employment.  I accept Town Talk's commitment to maintain a safe drug-free work place.  I agree not to use drugs or alcohol on company premises or report to work under their influence.  In case I am using prescription drugs which could impair me, I will inform my supervisor.  I accept that in order to implement this policy, Import Warehouse Inc.may monitor employees for drug use, conduct drug screenings and search the premises including:  my personal possessions and vehicle on Import Warehouse Inc.premises.  I acknowledge that failure to submit to a search ot test may result in the company's refusal to hire or continue to employ me.  I acknowledge that in the event of a positive test result I will be afforded an opportunity to explain the results but it will be Import Warehouse's final determination as to what action will be taken.

I AFFIRM THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND IMPORT WAREHOUSE'S SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND TESTING POLICY AND HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS.
